I read this post where the guy lost his job because his therian or otherkin personality which is that of a werewolf or something came out and scared off the customers:
I am thinking about how would an attorney handle this case, how the Labour Law could possibly apply to a situation like this….. and how can someone who claims to be nonhuman benefit from the HUMAN RIGHTS enshrined in the constitution?! I believe the guy described in the link above, just wanted to blame his otherkin persona for his lack of self-control that he does not want to manage as a human…yet again there are things such as anger management therapy etc.
I have read cases where the otherkin want to open cases against humans for harassing them, yet how can they demand their human rights to be enforced when they totally abandon their human identities? And would it be justified to say that they provoked the humans as self-defense?! That the employer was entitled to dismiss the employ because of MISCONDUCT on his behalf?!
Mmm, the other case I see is that the OTHERKIN COMMUNITY morphed into some non-profit organization incorporated, read about it here:
Non-profit organizations can sue in Courts of law to enforce HUMAN RIGHTS, but how can they demand HUMAN RIGHTS when they want to (AND IDENTIFY WITH) EVERYTHING ELSE BUT BEING HUMAN? I mean how can he demand to be reinstated as an employee or sue the employer based on unfair discrimination in labour practice? When he does not want to be seen as a human…..okay let’s say he feels more comfortable with being an animal, then would he feel better being seen as a slave in common law? A mere object which the employer DOES NOT HAVE TO CONSIDER as a human being, and can dismiss without any consequences attached?
This whole thing fascinates me, do you for one second think that PEOPLE WOULD TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY AT ALL AS “OTHERKIN” WHEN THEY WANT TO ENFORCE HUMAN RIGHTS IN COURTS OF LAW? That would be hypocritical…and I doubt that the organization was even created on valid grounds or valid agreement…….because it cannot be created without NATURAL PERSONS making the decisions to bring it into existence.
[30 minutes later – just reread the sentence and saw how stupid I must have sounded by saying that it could not be a valid agreement if it was not concluded by natural persons, when the otherkin are IN FACT HUMANS pretending to be something totally different]
Anyhow this internet popculture is on its way to fizzle out quickly…it has become a cliché as mentioned in one of my other posts about losing its appeal. It is like the punk fashion that only survived two decades from the 1970s to the 1980s…just being a lot of freaks wanting to act out, seeking attention……showing us how they have been neglected as people in their real life by the immediate people around them and even themselves….what you send out into the world is in fact a reflection of your most intimate needs, showing a side of your shadow you didn’t want anybody to know about.
But the notion that folklore would always survive is indisputable…. yet this new age pop culture thing is becoming something more of a pestilence to online surfers and networkers, than anything amusing these days. Old mystical folklore has been made a mockery of by people like those in the otherkin community which is nothing but a cult run by people who misuse mythological folklore for reasons that has nothing to do with folklore in the first place….feeding a need to escape from reality and their problems, or simply seeking to fit into some type of community to feed an insecurity of never being good enough to belong in society amongst normal people who are quite often very abnormal themselves…or simply to go on an ego trip, to feed their low self-esteem issues…….to act as gods and leaders in an imaginary fanfiction cult as compensation for how bad they feel in real life.
